Temporary happiness
I am just so happy my big blow up chair that I got from avon is finally patched up for good. I got it on my last birthday, but my nephew, who has this obsession with cutting things, stabbed it and I never had the time to fix it. I had to pray for it to work this time. finally, I don't have to sit on the floor when I want to use the computer or watch tv.
Doesn't it just look dandy?
My speech went well, you know, the one that was for animal testing? All I wanted was for my audience to rethink their opinion and it looks like that is what happend. Plus, I didn't mess up too badly. what else?
Oh! I have been busy this afternoon, getting our guest room together for my sister and her lovely husband. My dad is considering other plans-letting them have my room because it is the nicest (no kidding-better that mom and dad's) and switching me and my niece in the guest room. This is not going to happen. I don't give up my room for anyone-especially after I gave a whole evening to perfecting things for the actual guests. Plus I've got school and a play next week-i NEED access to my belongings at ALL times. I wake up at five. I am not going to walk in my rom and tip-toe all over it to try not to wake up my sis for two hours. Also I don't want them touching each other on my bed.
I would never feel the same sleeping there again.
Ever.

w00t for going against the norm and taking an alternative view!
Kudos for that.
And, on a side note, I wouldn't want people touching themselves in my bed either.
