What book have you read that you would recommend other people skip entirely?
the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, by mark haddan.
Over all it was okay. Somewhat interesting. It's about a kid in England who lives with his dad and the dog across the street was killed, so mark makes this his project to find out what happened.
prep, by curtis sittenfeld
sucked so bad. It was unbelievably boring and that is the last time I pick up a random book at any store just to do it. That was one of the worst books I ever even touched.
hard love, by somebody
It was dumb. A teenaged boy falls in love with a lesbian and she leaves him. Not fun or cool, or even moving. It just sucked.
So, any way I am going to plant a new sunflower and hopefully not forget to water it.
hopefully I'll get a lesson out this. Like patience or responsibility. I taught my Sunday School class that planting a seed could be like loving something because you are taking care of it like God takes care of you. Or like "mommy" does. We talked about love, using 1 John 4:7 (loving others=loving God)
Hopefully you'll look into it?
